<div>Yoga Nidra is sometimes called “Yogic Sleep,” or “Meditative Sleep.” This is a mindfulness-based, guided meditation practice. There will be a small amount of gentle stretching, but mostly finding a position of comfort (seated, or laying down, with any supportive props you need). Then all you do is breathe and listen; there is nothing to fix or change. This helps us shift from activated thinking to gently sensing without attachment, and simply being. This enables a sense of restfulness, and activates the calming part of our nervous system. Benefits of Yoga Nidra may include improved resiliency and ability to cope with stress, improved sleep and energy, and a sense of well-being.</div>
