Stress, anxiety, worry, depression…whatever life brings your way, we each have a reaction- physical, mental and psychological – that can affect us deeply. We can heal ourselves naturally, but the stress of daily life can interfere with that healing. Yoga helps the body slow down and brings awareness to habitual patterns of responding and relating to our internal and external environment. By focusing on the breath, the body and the present moment we can help reduce anxious thoughts and release physical tension.
This course is beneficial to anyone who wishes to find greater focus, positivity and ease in their lives. You will learn tools and proven techniques through yoga practice, meditation, positive psychology and breath work, as well as have a supportive space for reflection and education on reducing stress and increasing happiness and relaxation in your life.
Week 1 Gentle Yoga - Learn yoga poses to bring more ease in your body. We will stretch the body in a gentle way from head to toe.
Week 2 Core Strength Yoga – Strengthen from the inside out. Learn yoga poses to build stability in your body and mind.
Week 3 Mindfulness + Affirmation – Connect to the moment in thought and words and explore how to add more positivity in your life and gain more happiness and joy.
Week 4 Restorative Yoga + Breathwork - A relaxing and grounding experience to rejuvenate the body mind and spirit.
