About the full moon ceremony:

All throughout the world and all through the ages, humxns have gathered under the full moon. Maybe you believe that the full moon is magic and that it holds wisdom and inspiration within its bright beams, or maybe it’s simply a chance for you to pause and reflect upon where you’re at in life. Regardless, gathering in this way, with intention and community, can help us work through our stuff, acknowledge where we are at and shine light upon where the internal work needs to be done. The full moon is also a time for release and so we can consider what it is that we need to free ourselves of in order to live more truthfully.

The full moon ceremony will begin with a short talk by Sammy-Jo as she provides a thoughtful and heartfelt intention for the moon, month, and season, this will be followed by an opportunity for personal intention setting, a gentle movement practice, relaxation with a crystal sound bowl, meditation and finally, we will gather in a circle and conclude with a creative and sweet little ritual.

About Sammy-Jo: Body positive advocate, feminist, social justice enthusiast, and spiritual teacher, Sammy-Jo (she/her/hers) is all about helping people flow, with equal amounts of awkward and grace, through the ups and downs of life. Connecting on a very humxn level with humor (or at least an attempt at), love and weirdness, she facilitates ceremonies, programs and workshops with the purpose of aligning people with their humxn experience (whatever that means to them in the moment).

Accessibility and trigger warnings: Please note that there will be music played throughout this event, if you are concerned that this might be a trigger for you then please contact us well in advance so that we can share the playlist and we can make any changes needed. Natural incense will be burnt, if you have an allergy or this is triggering, please let us know so that we can refrain from burning.

All are welcome: You do not need to look a certain way or be a certain way in order to attend this event. We would like for you to feel as though you are welcome no matter what your size, shape, gender, cultural background, skin color, age etc. We would like to acknowledge, however, that it takes courage to be in spaces where you do not represent the majority, so our work is to make the space as inclusive and safe as we possible can. If there is anything that we can do in advance to make you feel more comfortable and included, please let us know.

What to bring: A yoga mat. A pen. A smile. Comfy clothes. Bring blankets and cushions if you want to make the experience super cozy! A journal is also optional- just in case you get some inspiration mid ceremony. Please also bring an open heart and open mind.

Sliding scale payment options: Because we would like to make this event as inclusive as possible, we are offering a sliding scale payment option.

The regular price is $30 but if your current life circumstances are such that you cannot pay this amount, please contact Centered directly to organize payment and booking. We will accept anything $15 and above. Please be honest and fair.

Cancelation policy: Sometimes, sadly, you might need to cancel an experience with us and of course that's fine, we will miss you but we also understand that life happens! If life does happen, pretty please cancel with at least 24 hours prior to the start time of any workshop or event. If you cancel within the cancelation period we will give you a full refund, but if you cancel outside of that time we will not be able to offer any refunds or substitute workshops. We hope that you can understand and appreciate that this is all super important to us. Thank you for being a good sport.
