<p>This class is for people that already understand the basics of handstands, and look to work more advanced entrances and holds. Learn creative ways to improve your endurance and mobility while in a handstand position. Learn proper body alignment, control and awareness through fun and challenging drills. These exercises will not only teach you how to improve balance in a handstand, but will greatly improve your overall body conditioning.</p>
<p>Things you will learn/work to improve:</p>
<ul>
<li>Improve range of motion in shoulders and hips to make balancing and press handstands easier</li>
<li>Strengthen core, wrists, and forearms for better support</li>
<li>Strengthen shoulder girdle for balance and pressing into a handstand</li>
<li>Fun proprioceptive drills with blocks to greatly improve your awareness for finding balance</li>
<li>Press into a handstand from pike, straddle and stalder positions</li>
<li>Build endurance for holding a longer handstand</li>
<li>Hold a handstand in tuck, straddle, pike and other leg positions</li>
<li>Transition between the various leg positions</li>
<li>Work towards one arm handstands</li>
