Monthly/Yearly members are welcome to attend the class but it is on
a first come, first serve basis. Online sign in does not apply for
this class.
Yin Yoga is a Yoga practice with a concentration on the
connective tissue of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine . Targeting
the deep connective tissue in the body such as the ligaments,
bones, and joints, postures are held from 2-5 minutes. This type of
practice is balancing to our more yang styles of Yoga. Students
leave the practice feeling “ lighter ” and more open in the hips.
The long static holds aids in preventing degeneration of the bones,
it stimulates bone growth and it lubricates the joints.
