What is Reiki?
As a natural method of healing, Reiki is a powerful and yet gentle system of laying of hands. With its roots in the 1800s, traditional Reiki continues to evolve and is widely used throughout the world. As an efficient method to reduce stress, Reiki enhances energy levels and naturally reduces pain. Benefiting body, mind, and emotions, Reiki is open to all. It is used to boost the bodies natural healing abilities, increase energy, reduce tension, improve concentration and memory, remove mental and emotional blocks as well as to reduce simple everyday discomforts such as tension and inflammation.
Reiki Certification:
Everyone can practice Reiki. To become a Reiki practitioner requires receiving attunements in person from a Reiki Master. An attunement is an opening of our energic pathways allowing the Reiki to flow. Reiki certification is offered in three levels: Level I, Level II and the master's levels. Each certification course provides discussion, practice, hands-on instruction, attunements and certification in the Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho school of Reiki.
Reiki Level I: This level is primarily about self-healing but you also learn how to use Reiki on friends, family, pets, or to enhance the energy of your meals. In addition, it becomes an adjunct to any current or future modality you may use. Once you are attuned, you are attuned for life.
