In this workshop we will dive deeper into the understanding of the foundations of Ayurveda, our unique mind-body type, or dosha, and the importance of nutrition to keep a healthy balance. Food in its natural form is the best medicine and Ayurveda teaches us how to use it to help fight inflammation and disease. We will discuss optimal digestion and the importance of the microbiome, the six tastes and what they represent, eating to balance the doshas, and mindful eating.
We will let our senses experience food in a new and fun way and bring our attention and intention to making better food choices and creating new healthy habits.
