DEEP STRETCH
This yin-style class uses simple, long-held, supported postures to deeply relax breath, mind and body with a focus on deeply stretching areas of commonly held tension. Sequences may also incorporate self-massage techniques using props and your own body weight to further release that deeply held tension.
• THIS CLASS IS GREAT FOR: All levels, including those brand new to yoga
• THIS CLASS IS NOT FOR: Those with a recent history of connective tissue (tendon or ligament) tears
• MUST BRING: Mat; You may also want to bring an extra pillow, body pillow, or wool/fleece blanket you might like to have in addition to the blocks, bolster, and wool blanket provided by the studio
