Many of us have spent a good deal of our lives confining our bodies through rigid practices, lifestyles choices and traumatic constrictions. Lifelong teacher and wise woman, Angela Farmer reminds her students often that, like snails, we shrink the soft inner animal of our body into its shell and remain there until it feels safe to emerge. Our work in yoga is to dive into this terrain and rediscover forgotten parts of ourselves so that we feel more at home in the container of our bodies and therefore in our lives.
Join Sheila to learn how to softly meet the parts of you that have been hiding away. Find your yoga from the inside out and re-inhabit your life with power and grace.
