The first 50 minutes of Vinyasa yoga is great for endurance and strength training. Because the challenging poses are done in quick succession, Vinyasa yoga helps build muscle strength while improving your fitness. It's also great for stability and balance as well as lowering stress and anxiety. This is followed by 25 minutes of Yin yoga, which is know for holding postures longer (3-5 minutes) for deep stretching. Yin yoga calms and balances the mind and body, reduces stress and anxiety, increases circulation, improves flexibility, and releases fascia and improves joint mobility. These two practices a re a great compliment to each other, and an amazing way to wind down you day!
