Pilates/Yoga Fusion in a warm room
Pilates/Yoga fusion combines movements that incorporate the
principles of Pilates with the flowing movements and asanas
(postures) of yoga. Pilates infused
movement focuses on engaging the core while
emphasizing spine and pelvic alignment while mindfully moving
with the breath. This body conditioning system helps build
flexibility and long lean muscles, strength and endurance in the
legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. The yoga flow of the
class connects one pose to the next while
again moving mindfully with the breath. This class is a
mixture of strengthening and stretching, with periods of
strong flowing movement as well as time to rest and stretch
before ending in Savasana.
