We are made of food. Simple but true. But how do we know what food is for us and what we should avoid. Food is primarily recognized by taste if we follow the lead of Ayurveda. All food has recognizable actions and all food has recognizable effects. Ayurveda categorizes 6 tastes, 2 primary actions and 3 effects. All food falls into these categories with two exceptions. Foods that act as medicine and foods that act as poisons. In this workshop we will look at our modern eating phenomena and its possible actions as poison as well as medicine.
