In this blended class you will begin with gentle alignment based postures, designed to move and unwind the body and mind. With all the major joints of the body in mind you will go through positive ranges of motion to effectively loosen up stiff sore muscles and bring life back into the joints.
With the use of props and the wall system you will be able to support the body and perhaps achieve a deeper more balanced practice. This is the STRETCH
SURRENDER…..the second half of the class is deep relaxation and support. This is all about slowing down from our fast and busy lifestyles. You will be guided through a few restorative postures which can be held for up to 10 mintues or longer. During this these long held poses your muscles all allowed to relax deeply, giving the mind and breathe time to become quiet.
While most yoga classes are fast and demanding, this is a peaceful practice, time for you to find relief and inner peace
