<p>Gyrokinesis is the mat portion of the Gyrotonic method. It will feel like you're doing yoga, but seated on a stool. There is a series of spinal motions, hip stretches, shoulder stretches, and then there's a floor sequence that involves a bit of core strengthening. Class will involve self-massage, grounding techniques, and of course, the gyrokinesis stool and floor work (stool work will focus on spinal stretches, and floor work will focus on hip openers, abdominal strengthening and glute/back strengthening). </p>
