This is a level 2 class suitable for the intermediate practitioner. Although we do touch on some advanced level asanas (poses) the class is structured so all asanas can be modified to accommodate all participants level of practice. Vinyasa is a dynamic style of yoga that uses sun salutations and a powerful breathing technique called Ujayyi breathing to link poses into a creative, continuous flow. This practice cultivates awareness, mindfulness and presence, as well as the excitement of new and challenging poses and sequences. It is a challenging alignment-oriented practice that develops strength, flexibility and balance in equal proportions.
