Jayma's floor barre class is loosely based
in both the Kniaseff method and a program developed by the Joffrey
Ballet to reduce the number of injuries within the company.
The floor barre class helps
develop strength, coordination, flexibility and control while
slowly, and safely, sculpting muscle. As in the title, this work is
completed on the floor so that students may work to identify and
strengthen correct muscles for use in dance without fighting
gravity.
