This special 2-hour workshop will introduce you to the ethical teachings of yoga from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, a text from 400 CE outlining the yogic path toward liberation. The yamas (ethical restraints) and niyamas (ethical observances) can offer insight on how you interact with yourself and the world. For instance, how does ahimsa(non-violence) tie into our practice and lives? The workshop will include time for journaling and a movement practice to embody the ideas. Learn how to practice yoga off the mat and embrace the lifestyle.

Please note if it's safer for this offering to be virutal we will be utilizing Zoom to connect. If the world is in a better place by the time of this workshop we will gather in person. We will be in connect closer to the date.
