This is an outdoor yoga class. Vinyasa Yoga is both a great place to start for beginners and for those seeking a continued challenge. If you like to focus on the power of breathing and flowing movement through poses, you will enjoy the Vinyasa style. Vinyasa yoga synchronizes movement to the breath. This style is also called flow yoga because of the smooth way that the poses run together. The breath becomes an important component as you move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. Vinyasa is literally translated as meaning "connection.”
Like all styles of yoga, Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. The synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.
Our teachers will do their best to teach classes that won't need props, but props may still be needed. Yoga mats and props cannot be provided for outdoor classes. Feel free to bring your own blocks, strap, and blanket. They may all be purchased in our wellness shop!
We suggest dressing in layers and bringing a filled water bottle. Restroom access is only available upstairs at Flow Motion. Look for the "Yoga on the Lawn" signs for parking. In the case of rain, class may be moved indoors.
