FREE Mini-Workshop: Restoring Vitality with Simple Breathwork
Join Margo, E-RYT, for an introductory study of the what's, how's and why's of yoga’s pranayama (breath work) practices. This workshop is intended for new and experienced yogis and non-yogis alike who would like to learn how something as simple as changing the way we habitually breath can have a huge impact on our energy, focus, and health.
It is your opportunity to participate some experiential learning with different breathing exercises and mindfulness to find the one (or few) that serves you best.
This 90-minute virtual workshop will include:
- discussion of the latest research about what chronic bad breathing habits are doing to our bodies and nervous systems,
- a look at what bad breathing habits are mistakenly being perpetuated in yoga classes today,
- and opportunity to explore some of the most common breathing and mindfulness techniques available from yogic tradition.
