<p>Join True Love Yoga teacher, Sam Megraw, in a 4-week series designed to introduce you to yoga. You will benefit from this investment 1) if you’ve ever been interested in yoga but don’t know where to start, 2) if you’ve tried yoga but felt left behind, or 3) if you’ve been away from your practice for a long time. Maybe you’re looking for an activity that will improve your posture, incorporate mindfulness into your daily life, and most importantly, reduce stress! This is a judgment free series made for you.<br /><br />In this workshop you will:<br /><br />-Become familiar with foundational yoga poses <br />-Learn to use helpful props <br />-Learn variations for injuries and accessibility<br />-Receive one-on-one assistance <span class="text_exposed_show">to create safe and proper alignment<br />-Learn to improve overall body awareness, balance, and flexibility<br />-Receive a basic introduction to breathing techniques and meditation<br /><br />Prerequisites: NONE! All bodies are welcome!<br /><br />This series will take place via Zoom every Thursday in January from 6-7pm. You'll receive a link to the class recording with 5 days to practice (or repeat the class) if you're not available for the live class. Please download Zoom and register to receive your class link.
