Surya-Namaskar is not just a physical form of exercise which strengthens our back and stretches various muscles, though it does that too. It is a quite complete workout for the physical system – a comprehensive exercise form without the need of any equipment. another asana which balances the previous one. Surya Namaskar is the fundamental practice and a powerful process of activating the sun within us.
The practice has been structured with twelve postures or twelve
asanas in it. If our system is in a certain level
readiness and receptivity for submission, then naturally
our cycle will come in sync with the solar cycle. The session will
teach you how to move effortlessly from one posture to another so
that the practice becomes more meditative than just
physical.
