Yoga Nidra is a method of guided relaxation that has a profound effect on the body, mind, and emotions. In this ancient practice, sometimes referred to as Yogic Sleep, body and mind enter a state of deep, receptive relaxation through systematic, guided breathwork, body scanning and visualization. Done lying down, it is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while maintaining full consciousness.
Class will begin with a short series of gentle movement and yoga postures, followed by the Yoga Nidra practice. No yoga or meditation experience necessary.
