Want to work on a meditation practice? Wonder what those weird hand positions are that you see some yogis practice with? What about those aweseome beaded necklaces some yogis wear? Want to make one? Join Sumerlin and come see how they are all related and contribute to your mental well-being. In this three week series, we'll discover different ways to meditate, by trying each out for a 10 minute meditation. We'll also learn about some mudras, or hand positions you can use in meditation and your asana practice. Finally, we'll get instructions and supplies to make our own malas to be used for mantra or affirmation meditation. Each workshop will be 30 minutes in length, but if folks want to stick around and work on constructing their malas, we'll do that!
