Mindfulness is a gentle and effective way to cultivate awareness of thoughts, emotions and sensations. Mindfulness help us stay connected to the present moment and break free of automatic, habitual reactions that are often unhelpful for our well-being. This allows for the opportunity to respond in ways that are more and reflect our true desires, values and intentions.
The Introduction to Mindfulness workshop is recommend for anyone curious about mindfulness and would like to learn about its core principles and experience some of the practices. This workshop is also recommended for those considering enrolling in the more intensive 8 or 9 week therapeutic programs.
Mindfulness is free from any particular faith or religious belief. Meditation experience is not required. All are welcomed!
