In this class you will hold gentle supported poses allowing deep releases in your hips, back, shoulders and neck. Designed to help you stretch and relax, you will leave feeling open, at peace and rested.
You will use the hammock to bring your body to a more balanced postural alignment so that you can be coaxed to release chronic tension and simultaneously bring your mind to a more balanced state. This practice can be quite powerful and therefore also very effective for experiencing Yoga.
For your safety, and the hammocks, we ask that you remove all your jewelry and make sure to avoid wearing clothes with zippers, velcro, or buttons. Although not mandatory, clothes covering your armpits and knees will be more confrotable for your skin to avoid chafing. You may want to bring a yoga blanket (a towel works well too), a block and also a bolster to help support with some of the asanas.
COVID HEALTH PROTOCOLS - UPON ENTERING THE PREMISES YOU ARE REQUIRED TO:
-sanitize your hands.
-wear a mask until class starts and before leaving the room. Wearing the mask during class is optional.
-maintain 2 metre/6 feet distance between staff and students at all times.
-our props on are vaction until we are safe from COVID, please bring your own if needed.
