Yoga is the art and science of connecting the mind, body, and spirit. Often times in our Western society, we tend to think of yoga as a physical exercise. When in reality the physical practices of yoga are only one of the eight parts or limbs of a yogic life. In this weekly class, we will discuss the topics of yoga outside of asana or the poses. Things such as breath, mindfulness, meditation, yoga philosophy, and soulful living will be our focus. This class will not consist of a physical asana priactice but instead will be a discussion based class with [pranyama( breath work) and meditation practices weaved in. All levels welcome and street clothes are fine to wear! This class is donation based.
