<p><em>* MBSR was originally founded by mindfulness pioneer Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. Mindfulness is described as non-judgemental acceptance and investigation of present experience, including body sensations, internal mental states, thoughts, emotions, impulses and memories, resulting in reduced suffering or distress and increased well-being.</em></p>
<p>A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine located in Norway, Maine in honor of Breast Cancer/Cancer Awareness Month.</p>
