<p>An Introduction to Iyengar Yoga follows the alignment principles of BKS Iyengar. Typically the practice incorporates props to ensure every student is able to access each pose. Modifications are provided for those working with various physical issues or conditions. Poses are often held longer in order to find 'meditation in action' and the 'repose in the pose.' Regardless of the style of yoga you are familiar with, you will find new ways of working and new insight into asana which will enrich your practice and deepen your experience of yoga. Together, we'll explore standing poses, forward and backward extensions, seated postures, twists and inversions.</p>
<p>This is a great beginner class, also appropriate for intermediate and advanced yogis alike.</p>
