Yoga Strong is a class designed for beginners with no yoga experience necessary. The class will go step by step through foundational yoga poses in a slow and mindful way to engage the deep stabilizing muscles of the body. You will push limits in your mind and body safely and with the intention of breaking old habits causing weakness, pain, or misalignment. With consistent attendance you’ll have a new sense of balance, strength, and body awareness. If you suffer from chronic pain this class seeks to teach you how to go through your day with the tools to realign your body and mind to adapt and build new patterns of motion that can ease or heal your pain. Come prepared to work hard and feel powerful.

MY STUDIO GUIDELINES
TEACHERS AND STUDENTS FEELING SYMPTOMATIC OF ANY ACUTE ILLNESS OR RECENTLY IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE TESTING POSITIVE OR PRESENTING SYMPTOMS OF AN ACUTE ILLNESS ARE ASKED NOT TO ATTEND CLASS FOR SEVERAL WEEKS -1 MONTH AS A COMMON COURTESY TO THOSE OF US IN ATTENDANCE AT THE STUDIO.
Class capacity is reduced to 6 students in the ELEMENTS Studio (This studio is twice the square footage of our former Chakra Studio. The capacity of this studio is 20 students, 16 comfortably before the 'new normal' so I am limiting the class to less then half of what was a comfortable class size before)
There is a limited number of classes offered at this time so that there will never be a class following another class without many hours in between. There is only 1 class running on the evenings so you will find our schedule has been reduced significantly now.
Please be aware that if you sign up but do not show, you will be charged the $15 drop-in fee or one of your class passes. With such limited available spots, we encourage you to follow through with your commitment when you register for a class so that those wanting to attend have that ability.
Front Door to the entrance of the studio is propped open and to the studio your class is held in to reduce the need to touch door handles. Your teacher will promptly lock the front door at the start of class.
Door handles, Bathrooms, Front Room/Desk Area and Studio will be cleaned after each class
Please bring your own mat and props (blankets, blocks, strap, bolster)
Due to statewide mandates it is highly encouraged to wear a mask at times when distance cannot be maintained such as entering and exiting the studio
