This series will focus on the fundamentals of yoga for curious beginners, or any yogi in need of a review of the basics. We will explore the history of yoga, different forms of yoga, and how to build a safe and meaningful personal yoga practice. In each session there will be a yoga practice which emphases basic yoga poses and sequences. Participants will experience several different types of practices, including traditional (American) vinyasa flow, yin, restorative, and yoga nidra. By the conclusion of the four sessions, yogis will have experienced the foundations of yoga including a variety of practices and will be able to begin or return to a well-informed individual practice.
