The beginner series is a great way to start your yoga practice. This 4-week series teaches new students the fundamentals of yoga and provides a safe and engaging learning environment. Students learn yogic breathing, yoga postures, and relaxation techniques. The beginner’s series is taught in a sequential manner to help students build strength and flexibility. Pre-registration is required.

This series is lead by Holly Owens. Holly began a dedicated yoga practice in 2009 after seeking a holistic approach to healing after being diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. Life changes including diet, self-care and yoga practice brought her balance, vitality and health. After a few years of dedicated yoga practice, Holly desired to deepen her knowledge and earned her 200 hour training through Om My Yoga in Camp Hill in 2014 and 500 hour training in 2016. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. Holly has also completed specific trainings in Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga and continuing education Yoga Trainings with Shannon Paige, Seane Corn and Sarah Powers.
Holly feels that yoga is a beautiful blend of movement, breath and presence. She is a passionate instructor looking forward to sharing the benefits of yoga with you.
