<p class="">Join Emily for the perfect class to supplement the fall/winter hibernation vibe with some yummy movement and nourishing rest.</p>
<p class="">In Sanskrit, Nidra means "sleep" but this class is anything but your average nap! We'll begin with a grounding Earth flow, keeping low to the mat while stretching and breathing new spaces into the body.</p>
<p class="">You'll then move into the Nidra practice. From the outside, Nidra can look something like a 20-30 min Savasana. Internally, you will be guided into various stages of sleep and awareness. This practice has been studied for its benefits in soothing anxiety, insomnia, and even PTSD. A bit of background on the theory and philosophy behind this nourishing practice will be included in each class.</p>
