As we age things change; physically, intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally, and as we change so does our yoga practice.</div>

<p>This section explores the functions of each physiological system in the body and provides a review of general terminology associated with disease and injury. The focus on disease is an impairment of health that interferes with the body’s ability to function normally; as appropriate to Level 1 coursework. This class lays the foundation for Levels 2/3 Pathophysiology study of how disease and trauma alter the normal functioning of the body.</p>
<p>In this section, trainees will learn general assessment principles using the panchamaya model, adaptations for common pathologies and applications of asana, pranayama and dhyanam using a 12 step class formula based off Larry Payne’s work in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya, as well as delivery methodology for clients.</p>
