As you move through your week, take a meditative lunch break to cultivate awareness, presence of mind and acceptance of what is. Join this drop in class at noon on Wednesdays whenever you need a mindfulness break. Each week will focus on a different theme such as loving-kindness, compassion, working with pain or self-acceptance. We'll start with a grounding exercise and then flow through some gentle movements to help us connect with our bodies. There will be a short talk on that week's theme and then a guided meditation followed by a questions and answer period. This class is open to people of any or no meditation experience and is intended to be a welcoming exploration of various meditation techniques and themes.
