This module is open to the public for any students looking to deepen their yogic knowledge. + This module is required as part of our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. + This module may also count as 15 hours of Continued Education for existing RYTs. In this module we cover the history, philosophical elements, and concepts of yoga. We explore topics ranging from the ancient texts and the 8 limbs of yoga to Dharma and Karma. We discuss the ancient roots of yoga and explore how the student can incorporate yoga into their daily life. We will also uncover the different paths of yoga and the sister science, Ayurveda. This module will take your practice past the point of the physical and into a deeper level of understanding and appreciation.
