The intention of this annual urban retreat is to strengthen our capacity physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Each year a different focus is explored across the five days. Past topics included: strengthening our foundation through subtle energy actions; moving from the four diaphragms; awakening the seven chakras; revealing our deep-rooted patterns. The retreat’s five daily sessions flow from standing poses and twists into inversions, backbends, seated and forward folds. One of the days is dedicated to a silent practice, and each of the five days includes asana, pranayama, pratyahara and meditation. Daily practice such as this brings with it transformational awareness, healing and growth.
