<p>In this practice we will focus on harnessing the power of the exhale and breath retention to find stability and calm in our asana practice.</p>
<p>This is an advanced practice, meaning, it greatly challenges the mind and body as we learn to become more sensitive to prana and working with the breath. I don't believe in labeling classes with levels based on asana... the true questions is whether you can you sit with yourself alone for a long period of time, be able to control the mind and the breath. That is when we know we are advancing in our practice.</p>
<p>Students that are new to working with the breath and haven't quite developed the lengthening of the exhale may want to wait until they are ready for this type of practice.</p>
