You've got some vocabulary, and now it's time for grammar.

Learn how to string aerial silks moves together to create choreographed sequences. The "beginning" in the title refers to the level of difficulty of the tricks and postures we'll be using- students don't need to be able to invert yet, but previous silks experience is necessary.

In addition to introducing more ornamental and expressive elements to silks to dress them up for performance, we'll be getting into endurance training as well. It takes a lot more energy to do a bunch of moves all in a row rather than just one at a time.

If you find yourself thinking, "oh, this must not be for me, I'm so new that I couldn't possibly do a performance," then great news- you're wrong! :D This class won't be culminating in a public performance, although you're encouraged to record your prgoress throughout the series. Also, you don't have to wait until you're "good enough" to start learning more about performance. If you have the interest, then the time is now!
