Restore yourself to your natural inner balance, ease tension,
and nourish well-being. In restorative yoga, we move through a
series of long-held postures, using props, that invite the body to
find comfort and rest in each posture so that we can unwind chronic
habits of tension and stress in the mind, body, and emotions.
Breathing practices, relaxation techniques, and guided meditations
are offered to enhance relaxation. This class is suitable for most
levels (e.g. chronic conditions; chronic pain; active lifestyle).
The gentleness of restorative yoga will be paired with hatha
sequences to bring some warmth and gentle movement to the
body.
Props used in class, please bringing a blanket, pillow and/or
towel to enhance your experience. Please bring your own yoga mat.
