For the non-heated (25-30C) Yin portion, the body is supported
by props in long static holds. These holds are designed to work the
deeper connective tissues of the body. Tendons, ligaments and also
stressing the fascia that covers the entire body.
As the class moves into Yang, we begin to energize and heat
the space (40C)! The breath is incorporated and the body begins to
move and flow. Here is where we begin to work the more external
parts of our bodies as we strengthen muscle and release it's
tension.
