Aerial yoga for kids (ages 6-12) will bring your little ones into a space of awareness, creativity, strength and tranquility. The class will incorporate mat yoga poses and flows that are specifically designed to enhance core strength, balance, concentration and full-body coordination. Children will use the aerial yoga hammock in various ways, including to stretch, strengthen and rest. Aerial instructor, Lana, will also introduce an array of breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques, giving students guidance on how they can incorporate them into their daily lives as coping skills. No previous yoga experience required. Class is limited to 7 participants.
