This is a total body workout that begins with gentle yoga movements to warm up the body. After the warm up, we will pick up the pace and do about 15-20 minutes of low impact strength training. We will utilize light weights, bands, balls, blocks, and chairs, as well as our body weight, to build strength throughout our entire body (lower body, upper body, & core). Again, these will be low impact movements so no shoes are required. We will conclude the class with yoga poses to stretch and lengthen our muscles while cooling down. The movements change every week to challenge different muscle groups of the body. If you have been practicing yoga and are curious about strength training, this is the class for you!
