Sound: Have you ever heard a song that moves you and goes straight to your heart? Or a voice that brings back memories?
Sight: Have you ever noticed what you see affects your mind, your body and your being? Peaceful and calming water, or an animal makes you feel relaxed and at peace.
Smell: Think about when you smell different aromas, do you feel or think about something? Or somewhere? The smell of coffee brewing? Baked goods? Lavender? Fresh cut grass?
Taste: In Ayurveda, food is put into 6 categories: salty, sweet, sour, pungent, bitter and astringent. Each one will connect to you differently or even bring you to a place and time when you experienced that taste before.
Touch: A massage, a hug, a handshake are all forms of touch. Most of us liked to be touched. It's a very human quality, touch or feel. We enjoy touching and being touched. The softeness of silk or cashmere? Fuzzy animals? Smooth? Cool? Warm?
This retreat will allow you to relax and help you to reflect on yourself as you release and heal from negativity and stress, by using your 5 senses.
