Our daily lives can lead to chronic problems of posture and muscular imbalances—especially now that many of us work from home. This class focuses on bringing the body and mind back into balance. We begin with purposeful and gentle asana sequences to warm up joints and muscles, then move into poses designed to lengthen shortened muscles, strengthen overstretched muscles, and relax tensed muscles. You’ll find balance in every way: balance of your body in space, balance within your body, and a relaxing balance between work and rest. This is a wonderful class for beginners, for athletes, and for everyone who wants to center.
Preregistration and proof of vaccination against COVID-19 are both required. Preregistration closes one hour before class time. Please send proof of vaccination to email@example.com and we will make a note in your account (so you only have to do it once).
And as per Durham city mandate, masks are required throughout your time at the studio. We have disposable masks for you if you forget yours.
