Yin yoga poses target the body’s connective tissues-the tendons, fascia, and ligaments-with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. We encourage you to relax your body and breathe to allow gravity to assist you in the stretches.
Yin is a perfect complement to the muscular (yang) styles of yoga (and other physical endeavors) that emphasize internal heat.
For your safety and enjoyment before we play, here are a few requirements we can't waiver from:
*** You must arrive a minimum of 10 minutes prior to class to allow time for adjusting the hammocks.
*** You will not be allowed to participate in class if you have loose clothing, have lotion on or have anything sharp on the body (including jewelry, body piercings, nails), or are pregnant. It is mandatory that all students wear clothing that covers the armpits and back of the knees.
