<p>This class is designed using the Pilates principles: Breath, Concentration, Center, Control, Precision & Flow.</p>
<p>This is a seated-only class available to all persons, especially fitting for seniors, those with disabilities, larger bodies, and persons recovering from medical issues with doctor approval to exercise.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Excellent for those at<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>fall-risk due to vertigo, tinnitus and being of an older age.</p>
<p>Great for beginners just starting out and needing to build stamina.</p>
<p>This class focuses on core strength, building muscles with weights (optional), deep breathing and balancing exercises to increase mobility/strength and improving balance.</p>
<p>We will be using several props: weights, tennis balls, blocks, Pilates mini ball and dowels.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Great for beginners, as modifications are offered.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Taught by Susanne Sharrard, certified chair Pilates instructor.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
