This class is a delicious fusion of Hatha Yoga and Restorative Yoga. The practice aims to warm up students with movement in the Hatha Yoga practice with a focus primarily on breath, alignment, standing poses, standing balances and gentle backbends. This more heating element of the practice is then balanced as students come to the floor for supported restorative poses in order to cool the body. The practice closes with a 15 min Savasana for deep relaxation that allows the body to integrate the physical and energetic practices, leaving one feeling relaxed but open and ready to move into the day.
