The sister science to Yoga is Ayurveda – a holistic science of cultivating health through diet and lifestyle. In this workshop you will learn about the doshas or constitutions, the energetic models supporting them, and specific diet or yoga practices to help create balance. Additional resources will be provided to participants. Participants are encouraged to bring note-taking materials, a practice mat, and wear comfortable clothing for movement. Yoga Alliance CEUs will be available for participation in this training.
This class will be led by Dr. Kim Allen, a certified 500-hour teacher and 500-hour yoga therapist through the American Viniyoga Institute. Kim has her doctorate in Health Education and has been teaching yoga since 1996 to a wide range of specialty populations.
