An experiential course intended for qualified yoga teachers.

You will learn the principles of assisting yoga asana to help your students get the most out of their postures. We'll be looking at hand placement, direction of hand movement, appropriate pressure to use, how to use your whole body as a prop for your student and useful assists for poses in all stations. This course is intended to help you build your confidence, repertoire and experience in adjusting and assisting asana.

In the afternoon we will be using props to develop asana - how the prop can become an extension of the body, props for safety and props to bring out the essence of the pose. Every body is different and each student will need to use their props in a different way to get the most out of their practice. As a teacher, you will learn how to guide your students into appropriate and safe use of their props.
