How often do you just let yourself be? At New Year, we can get so seduced by the idea of a better, happier future self that we forget to honour the self that we are in the only moment we really have - now. It's easy to be busy, and modern society encourages us to wear that chronic, fragmented busyness as a badge of honour; but it's resting that's the hard bit.

What if doing more things actually made us less, by depleteing our resources?

What if just being were in fact more valuable and rewarding than doing?

On the 2nd January 2022, I invite you to come and carve out a whole day of rest for yourself, so that you can be a better, happier self right in the moment. You can start the new year feeling like the self you want to take into 2022 with you. While it's great to have goals, you don't need to fix anything or improve anything. Who you are right now is just the right you.

On the day, we'll do a full Hatha yoga practice in the morning, followed by lunch in the hall. in the afternoon you will be immersed in all the most restful yoga practices - yoga nidra, restorative yoga and a gong bath with Monika Kralj.

Yoga nidra brings you into healing rest and harmonises aspects of consciousness

Restorative yoga grounds you in your body, releases held tension and soothes the memory of stress in the body.

Gong meditation takes you on a journey into meditative sound with healing vibration that relaxes and restores body, mind and heart.
